Végre eljött az igazság pillanata és a New York-i Madam Tussaud viaszmúzeum vezetősége ráébredt a helyzet tarthatatlanságára, hogy amíg a múzeumban öt NY Yankees játékosról is van szobor, addig egyetlenegy dicsőséges New York Mets atléta sem került be. Egyelőre titokban tartják, hogy kinek a szobra lesz kiállítva április 2-án, csak annyit mondtak, hogy jelenleg is aktív és nem kopasz játékost formáznak meg. A legesélyesebbnek David Wrightot tartják, de José Reyes vagy Carlos Beltrán sem lenne nagy meglepetés.Azt, hogy miért kellett eddig várni, azzal magyarázták, hogy a szurkolóknak nem volt egy egyértelmű kedvence, ami azért nevetséges, mert minden Mets játékosról szobrot kellene állítani.
